Run a stick of 3/4" PVC conduit through a table saw to make a slot in
one side. Depending on your kerf, make a second pass to widen the slot
so a cable fits easily into your slot.
Cut off short sections to use for weed whacker and/or chew prevention.
Slip the cable into the slot, secure it with standard conduit straps.
Cheap.

Being back in the grind now, Im finding installers just keep replacing
cable on animal chews. Yesterday I had to take everything off a yagi
and tapcon the pipe to a brick wall to protect cable from getting
rechewed. when I was installer kept random scrap stuff and DS mounts
to run cable through nice and ghetto when customers wouldnt screen off
exposed areas.
I have some liquidtight scrap that might be worth throwing in the van.
this is all residential, we dont charge for service calls or
incidentals, so i need something on the cheap to stock in the van that
doesnt take up alot of real estate on the shelves.
I had even considered rigid 1/2 conduit and a bender, but I doubt most
techs weve had would be able to operate that
