Maybe that means the last time it changed.


That's just the last time something happened in BGP, like a new announcement or bestpath change. If I mess with one of my prefixes the website shows the difference within the specified cache time and the "last update" says 31 seconds ago vs. 41 days pre-change. It's real time to within a minute for repeated queries.
