If it was to be operated on licensed frequencies, did it still have to be type approved? I thought all commercial equipment operated on licensed bands could be self certified now.
But they had plenty of chances to stop, comply, confess etc. If you immediately show a compliant attitude it always goes much easier at the FCC. Not saying you should not get an attorney, but you should stop transmitting immediately and give them whatever documents you have if you have them to support your right to operate there.
