I prefer the dell series servers for Esxi and sans
If you only need 2 then HA can be deployed to sustain without much maintenance other than software. Xenon core processors or something in the i5 or higher range lots of memory and HDD/Sans space is easy.

BTW, I have a bunch of 1855 blade centers sitting, quad power supplies, dual switches, 10 blades most have dual dual core Xeons around 2.0 – 2.4 ghz. 10 blades each.  I can sell you for a song!

Servers for what?

Blades are kind of a thing of the past, I think.  It's way easier and cheaper to do something like HA with ESXi.

    Any suggestions?
