so i had a site hung for me, 5ghz epmp, 5.1. Its always had mad fading, like 20 db through the day. i sent the contractors up today and they were hung a little low elevation, only like 1.2 degree
they corrected it, I see an average drop in rssi of 2-3db at the subscribers, but as yet there has been no fluctuation. the worst affected were in the 4-7 mile range I suspect these customers need to be re-aligned and we will see the expected linkplanner numbers, I think they were peaked to a reflection that faded throughout the day If this is a correct assumption, could somebody with better brain bits put this into words for me to describe to others (boss and contractors in particular) what is happenning with cancellation throughout the day as temperatures and reflectivity changes
