If not you can contact <mailto:webmaster@;sithengi.co.za> for your password **2**. 1st Sithengi Film Festival, Cape Town opens Saturday the 9th with great line up The Opening films at the 1st Sithengi Film Fest are a package of short features "A Drink in the Passage" and "Ubuntus Wounds" by Zola Maseko and Sechaba Morojele respectively, the award winning documentary "Amandla" by Lee Hirsch and the South African Feature film "Promised Land" by Jason Xenopolous . The closing Film is "Rabbit Proof Fence" courtesy of Videovision and closing party for the market will be held at the Grand West after the closing film. Childrens Broadcasting Festival Awards to feature pop stars "101" The 1st Childrens Broadcasting Festival and Workshops kick off this weekend (9th and 10th) and the Children will be awarding their best programmes at an awards ceremony attended by the Minister of Communications Dr. Ivy Matsepe Casaburri and the pop group "101". Festivities kick off at 4pm for 4:30pm on Sunday the 10th at the Artscape. Mayoral Welcome Party Sunday 10th - by invitation only - get yours by registering now Once again the Mayor of the City of Cape Town will be welcoming delegates to Sithengi on Sunday the 10th at 7:30pm in the Civic Centre.
