The 2004 INDEPENDENT BLACK FILM FESTIVAL is now

accepting submissions for films, screenplays, and film

soundtrack scores. The festival takes place January 23-26, 2004

at the Magic Johnson Theatres in Atlanta, Georgia.  The

Independent Black Film Festival will highlight pioneering

filmmakers who are defining the new direction of independent

film as well as bringing the indie film community together for

networking, deal-making, opportunities to meet financiers,

distribution deals, politiking with attorneys, accountants and

... it's "OFFICIAL," the URBAN LITERARY FILM FESTIVAL is now

open for   business. The first urban-independent film festival in

North Carolina will take place October 16-18, 2003 in

Greensboro, North Carolina.  If you're a singer, rapper, model,

poet or aspiring actor, writer,  director, producer or filmmaker, the

Urban Literary Film Festival is North Carolina's first venue to tap

into the market that so many Hip Hop artists have already paved

Danny Glover returns to chair THIRD ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL

BLACK PANTHER FILM FESTIVAL which runs Thursday, July 31,

2003 through Monday, August 4, 2003 at City College's Aaron

Davis Hall, Columbia University; Lerner Hall's Roone Arledge

Cinema, and The Studio Museum in Harlem. In addition to films,

the program includes spoken word events, special panels, Q &
