Nigeria will host its 2nd National Film and Video Festival tagged NFF 2003 from the 31st of October to the 8th of November 2003 in Lagos, Nigeria's former capital. The theme of the festival is "Motion Picture As A Tool For National Rebirth And Economic Empowerment".
The festival organising committee invites entries in the following categories-
COMPETITIVE
This section is reserved for Nigerian Film/Videos by Nigerian Directors working in Nigeria; and for literay works on the Nigerian motion picture industry by Nigerian Authors/ Writers.
NON-COMPETITIVE
* Nigeria Panorama- This sectiopn admits feature films and non feature films on Nigeria by Nigerian and non Nigerian directors
* Diaspora and African films- This section admits feature and non feature films by Nigerian Directors in Diaspora and by African Directors
* Universal films- This section is reserved for films from the rest of the world (excluding Africa)
