Apologies for cross-posting! Dear Community Members,
We are pleased to officially share a great update on the 3rd edition of Wiki Loves Folklore <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Folklore_2021> [1]. Amidst the ongoing pandemic and its risks in attending in-person gatherings for contributors and photographers across the globe, we were able to gather over 7000+ submissions during this year's edition as announced here <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Folklore_2021/Winners> [2] We extend a warm hand of appreciation to our international jury which was made up of professional photographers and commons activists. The energy you all exerted within the period is greatly valued. Here's a blog post on Diff <https://diff.wikimedia.org/2021/10/03/join-us-celebrate-the-eureka-effects-of-the-3rd-edition-of-wiki-loves-folklore/> detailing all the winner's alongside some experiences. We thank you all for your support!! Cheers, Joy Agyepong International Program Coordinator (WLF21) On behalf of the Open Heritage Foundation Team ------------------------------------------------------------------ [1] https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Folklore_2021 [2] https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Folklore_2021/Winners [3] https://diff.wikimedia.org/2021/10/03/join-us-celebrate-the-eureka-effects-of-the-3rd-edition-of-wiki-loves-folklore/ [image: image.png]
