Dear Winnie,

It feels like just yesterday that you were introduced to us as a stranger.
It has been a long journey since then, during which I've had the
opportunity to work with you in connecting Africa to the world and
fostering connections within our community, an endeavour that has been
quite daring for us. We have grown not only as partners but also as friends
working toward a shared goal. The fact that you are still here with us,
leading one of Africa's most vibrant communities, gives us great comfort.

All the remarkable achievements as *Movement Communications Specialist-
Africa, at the Wikimedia Foundation*, are etched in our memories, and we
will continue to hold them dear.

We look forward to ongoing collaboration in the future.
