Israeli, Jewish and Armenian origins.  The ensemble combines the sacred 
musical traditions of Judaism, Sufism (Islamic mystical tradition) and 
the Christian Armenian Church.
The Yuval Ron Ensemble is dedicated to fostering an understanding of 
Middle Eastern cultures.

ABOUT THE CLASS  :   This wonderfully exciting class will have you smiling and 
feeling great as you relieve stress, strengthen your entire body, and improve 
flexibility while moving to percussive music & drums.  Experience the joy of 
Afro-Cuban dance to the rhythms of Samba, Reggae, African and Carnival.  The 
class will begin with a ? hour warm-up of slow dance movement, which will 
progress into energetic dancing.  Monisha teaches a combination of Afrikan and 
Cuban movements which she fuses with elements from Yoga, Pilates, and Jazz. All 
of the combined movements focus on breathing, learning body placement, building 
body awareness, & improving coordination and balance. A lot of hips, shoulders 
and body waves create sensual, fun and unique movements that will inspire you 
to completely immerse yourself in the beautiful art of Afro-Cuban Dance.

The tragedy in La Conchita has touched all of us deeply. We at The benefit for 
La Conchita are neighbors and friends of the dear souls we lost there. We are 
dedicating our energies to do what we can to help the folks who remain there 
and are in need of re location,
transportation, food, clothing and support in general.
We will disperse the money raised through the Carpinteria Rotary Club, The 
Montecito Bank and a committee of La Conchita residents who can kindly advise 
and help us to determine how to direct the funds.
The benefit will be held at Girls Inc. in Carpinteria, 5315 Foothill Road.
