Greetings! The site you mention, which apparently you also put into 
the links section of this group's site, gives this definition: "A 
blog is a journal or diary that you can get feedback."

For those who don't know, "blog" is short for "weblog." A couple of 
definitions from pages with more info are:
"... a web application which contains periodic time-stamped posts on 
a common webpage. ... Such a website would typically be accessible to 
any Internet user."

It would be interesting to know of blogs in African languages or 
including some African language content.

Last year I started a blog using a widely known free service at 
http://www.blogspot.com . It's at http://niamey.blogspot.com , and I 
began it as an experiment with multilingual blogging (English, 
French, Fulfulde, Bambara). Unfortunately I have had trouble 
accessing it from my current location, and I'm busy anyway, so the 
recent additions are few.
