In the aftermath of discussions in and around the Wikimania 2006
conference about Wikipedias in African languages, a list was created
to facilitate communication and planning among people interested in
working on and supporting their development. It's called AfrophoneWikis:

On the group homepage you can visit the "Links" to find ... links to
relevant Wikimania 2006 conference pages.
