Dear all, Yesterday, ICANN sent a letter <https://www.icann.org/iana_imp_docs/51-csc-request-for-appointment-v-v1> [PDF, 217 KB] to the ICANN Supporting Organizations, Advisory Committees, and the Registry Stakeholder Group to request that these organizations initiate their internal processes to appoint candidates to serve as members and liaisons on the Customer Standing Committee (CSC).
The CSC will provide operational oversight of the performance of the IANA naming function, a role currently performed by NTIA. In its oversight role, the CSC will monitor the performance of the IANA naming function against agreed service level targets.
