Dear all,

I would like to draw your attention to an article by the Internet Society
President and CEO, Kathy Brown, that was published today on The Hill under the
title " Inaccurate rhetoric must not short-circuit internet
transition<http://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/technology/295021-inaccurate-rhetoric-must-not-short-circuit-internet-transition>".

Its publication comes at a key moment: On September 30, the contract between
the US Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information
Administration (NTIA) and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and
Numbers (ICANN) is set to expire.

Regards,
Betel
