On infrastructure 5G, The European Commission called on member states of the European Union on Wednesday to move fast and consolidate the latest 5G generation of cellphone network to avoid being left behind by global competition elsewhere. Besides, The European Union has given Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other internet companies three months to show that they are removing extremist content more rapidly or face legislation forcing them to do so.
"On Right to be forgotten", Google says it has received more than 650,000 requests to remove certain websites from its search results since a European court ordered the company to allow Europeans the "right to be forgotten" in 2014. On partnership, The GSMA and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Mobile World Congress to raise awareness about internet governance issues of mutual interest.
