Dear Colleagues,
Hope you are well and safe.
As you are aware, the Africa Internet Summit 2020 was postponed due to the
outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organising committee is continually
assessing the situation and is yet to determine both the date and mode of
holding the meeting. However, we are still continuing with the planning process
to ensure we are prepared when the current crisis is over. We may also have an
online meeting.
We are accordingly extending the call for presentations for AIS’20.
• Deadline for submitting an application - 12 June 2020
• Notification of acceptance of application - 19 June 2020
• Submission of presentation - 25 June 2020
We are interested in presentations focusing on the following sub-themes:

Your contribution can be in the form of a presentation during a session, a
tutorial or a live technical demonstration. Kindly read all information
carefully before submitting your proposal.
We also encourage industry leaders to make panel proposals on an issue related
to the above sub-themes. Panel proposers are asked to identify possible
panelists and manage their panel. Moderators must specifically submit an
official proposal, indicating their background, panelists’ names, their
affiliation, the topic of their panel, as well as short biographies.
Speakers’ Guidelines
• The maximum time allotted per presentation will not exceed 30 minutes.
• The presenter(s) will be required to upload their final presentation in
PDF format, no later than five (5) days prior to the presentation date.
• Presenters are responsible for producing any handouts if required.
There are usually approximately 200 delegates in each session. Presentations
with marketing and/or commercial content will not be considered.

Como sabem, a Cimeira Africana da Internet 2020 foi adiada devido ao surto da
pandemia da COVID-19. A comissão organizadora está continuamente a avaliar a
