The Coalition for Digital Africa announces that applications are now open for
the 2026 Domain Name System and Security Extensions (DNSSEC) Roadshow. African
country code top-level domain (ccTLD) operators are invited to apply between 2
March and 1 May 2026.

The DNSSEC
Roadshow<https://coalitionfordigitalafrica.africa/initiatives/dns-security-extensions>,
launched in mid-2023 as part of the Coalition’s ongoing efforts to strengthen
Domain Name System (DNS) security across the continent, will select up to five
ccTLD operators to take part in a focused technical program supporting the
deployment and validation of DNSSEC. Selected participants will receive
practical training and direct guidance from experienced consultants to
strengthen their DNS infrastructure and operational practices. As part of the
program, participating registries will also co-host a national training session
for Internet service providers and network operators to promote broader
awareness of DNS security and its role in protecting users and online services.

The initiative is open to African ccTLD operators seeking to introduce DNSSEC
or to expand its adoption at the second and third levels of their domain space.
Applicants should demonstrate a stable DNS infrastructure, maintain current
technical documentation, and confirm institutional commitment to implement the
project, including appointing a project manager.

By supporting ccTLD operators in strengthening DNS security, the Coalition for
Digital Africa continues its work to promote a stable and trusted Internet
ecosystem across the continent. The DNSSEC Roadshow combines technical
assistance with local engagement to ensure that improvements are sustainable
and aligned with national needs.

Eligible operators are encouraged to submit their applications within the
application window. For additional information or questions about the process,
please contact [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.

Best regards,

On behalf of the Coalition for Digital Africa Secretariat
