This note announces the start of a one-week last call within the AFS-3 Standardization Group on the following document:
Title: Integrating rxgk with AFS Filename: draft-wilkinson-afs3-rxgk-afs-07 URL: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-wilkinson-afs3-rxgk-afs-07.txt This document describes how the new GSSAPI-based rxgk security class for RX is integrated with the AFS application protocol. It describes a number of extensions to the basic rxgk protocol, clarifies a number of implementation issues, and provides values for the application- specific elements of rxgk. If approved, this document will advance to the "experimental" state, which is roughly equivalent to the IETF's "Proposed Standard". A specification in that state is expected to be complete and ready for implementation; however, it is possible that the specification will be revised on the basis of implementation, testing, and/or deployment experience. Advancement beyond this state to "standard" requires successful implementation and an additional last call within this group. For more details, see sections 2.3 and 2.3.3 of draft-wilkinson-afs3-standardisation-00.txt. This last call will expire at 23:59 EDT on June 1, 2015.
