Akibatnya, abu vulkanik yang dihasilkan berterbangan hingga ke arah Banjarnegera, Jawa Tengah. "Tadi saya merasakannya saat sedang di jalan, baru pulang dari kantor sekitar jam 19.00 WIB. Waktu itu gerimis deras tapi disertai debu gitu," ujar Rahmat, warga Desa Kalibelus, Kecamatan Purwonegoro, Kabupaten Banjarnegara Jawa Tengah, kepada detikcom, Rabu (3/11/2010). Akibat hujan abu tersebut, lanjut Rahmat, aspal juga terlihat putih. Beberapa pengendara juga sempat menghentikan kenderaan mereka untuk memastikan apakah benar gerimis itu disertai abu yang berasal dari abu vulkanik akibat letusan Merapi. "Abu di aspalnya juga lumayan tebal sekitar 2 mili, warna aspal hampir terlihat putih semua," imbuh Rahmat. Tidak hanya di sepanjang jalan saja, abu vulkanik tersebut juga terlihat di teras-teras rumah warga. Warga sempat kaget karena sejak Merapi meletus pada 26 Oktober lalu, baru kali ini abu vulakanik sampai ke Banjarnegara. "Orang-orang juga terlihat ke luar rumah, halaman dan tanaman jadi putih. Dan ini baru pertama kali sejak meletus kemarin," katanya. Saat ini cuaca di Bajarnegara sendiri masih terus diselimuti gerimis. Namun Rahmat tidak bisa memastikan apakah gerimis malam ini juga disertai abu vulkanik. "Sudah gelap tidak kelihatan lagi, yang jelas masih gerimis.
