Dan Rendang, makanan tradisonal asal Indonesia termasuk di dalamnya dan berada di urutan ke-11. Sayangnya baik nasi goreng dan sate ayam tidak termasuk di dalamnya. Artikel yang berjudul 50 makanan terlezat di dunia ini, tidak secara rinci menjelaskan kriteria mengapa disebut makanan terlezat. Artikel tersebut hanya mengatakan, “Kami menjelajahi banyak tempat untuk mendapatkan apa yang kami pikir sebagai makanan terlezat yag pernah dibuat”.
