Kalau trauma ini tidak dipahami dengan baik maka perasaan tertekan menjadi datang bertubi-tubi sampai tidak tahu memahami kehidupan realitas. Kondisi ini bayangan atau perasaan yang bersifat tidak nyata menjadi terlihat nyata. Nyata bagi dirinya namun bagi orang lain dianggap aneh karena peristiwa itu memang tidak ada. Banyak orang mengira, kalau kita mengalami kejadian yang mengerikan sebaiknya jangan diingat-ingat, dilupakan saja. Orang cenderung menasehatkan agar tidak mengingat-ingat lagi, malah ada yang menganjurkan agar menghindari mengingat masalah itu. Lantas bagaimana caranya untuk menyembuhkan trauma masa lalu yang menyakitkan? Terimalah bayangan masa lalu yang menyakitkan itu sebagai ketetapan Allah, kerelaan menerima apapun yang sudah menjadi kehendak Allah justru membuat kita menjadi kuat dan sabar dalam mengarungi hidup ini. Allah mengajarkan agar kita mampu memaafkan terhadap orang yang telah menyakiti hati kita. Memaafkan bukan melupakan, memaafkan berarti membalas keburukan dengan kasih sayang. Maka dengan memaafkan hidup kita akan menjadi lebih indah, lebih sehat dan lebih membahagiakan karena Allah melimpahkan keberkahan dalam hidup kita. Insya Allah.
