Beredarnya informasi tentang restoran dan produk kuliner tdk bersertifikat HALAL baru-baru ini akhirnya mendapat tanggapan dari Komisi Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI).
Anggota Komisi Fatwa MUI Pusat, Ustadz Irfan Helmi, dalam pernyatannya menyebutkan memang ada 15 restoran atau produk kuliner populer yang belum bersertifikat halal. Yakni produk ; J-Co Donuts, Bread Talk Roti, Roti Boy, Papa Rons Pizza, Izzi Pizza, Baskin ‘n Robbins, Richeese Keju, Coffee Bean, Dapur Coklat, Starbucks Coffee, Solaria, Hanamasa, Rice Bowl, Red Bean, dan Burger King.
