I actually thought it was the other way round =) since http://wiki.libagar.org/wiki/Install/Windows_%28MSYS%29 says "The recommended way of compiling Agar natively under Windows is using MSYS."
And since building with msys was already a big pain, I thought it best to use linux. Guess I'll give visual studio a try.
