Hi,

Steven,

It sure would be cool to have you aboard. I've seen some of your
contributions, looks good! I already implemented a new hasCredential()
function in my branch where I fixed the potential security problem you
pointed out in that ticket. Also, I added your AdoDBDatabase class. I'm
sorry I didn't reply to your mails back then; like the rest of the team,
I've been quite busy lately, but right now, especially Veikko and I are
pushing hard to get a 0.10 release ready.

Subject: Re: [agavi-dev] SVN != PEAR

Hi,
a month ago or so I sent a mail with a few bugfixes to this mailing
list...but got no answer. I would like to see these patches in the new
release
so I wanted to ask how to join the project team. Are there some
guidelines for devs?

hi all,
the current PEAR package is not the latest snapshot from SVN?
(for example, Request::getAttributes() in SVN but not PEAR)
The Pear package http://agavi.org/packages/agavi-current.tgz is the
latest released version 0.9.0 and, yes, it's quite old. We recommend
using 0.10-DEV from svn://svn.agavi.org/agavi/trunk. It is just as
stable and has quite a few improvements to 0.9.0.

If you use Linux or alike the easiest way to upgrade Agavi (installed
from the Pear package) is to use Wes' installer script
(http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00152.html).
Script has to be run as root.

0.10.0 release is coming shortly... many of us developers are commited
to this.
