I added some more changes:

1) PDODatabase is compatible with PHP 5.1.0 now.

2) PDODatabase also supports username and password parameters for drivers

3) All AG_* directives except AG_WEBAPP_DIR are optional now. If you provide
them, they are used, if not, they fall back to default values. I also backed
out the "don't compile and check anything!" setting we discussed.
