Very interesting. I have my email filters set up to archive this list .. which I will "read sometime later" ... but never do.
For some reason, this bypassed the filter and splatted to my central box. So I will answer. FWIW, -- There is a group on LinkedIn called AGI, but it seems to mostly consist of low-volume, low-quality posts and debate. -- There is a group on Facebook called Pattern Languages or PLAST or something like that, and it seems to have low-volume, high-quality proposals for top-down AGI architectures. -- There is the low-volume opencog mailing list, but it must be limited to on-topic conversations viz. something specifically to do with the opencog architecture or code-base. Personally, I've kind of given up on high-level, top-down architecture and theory, and instead work on bottom-up experiments to see what actually can be made to work, and what issues pop up at each step. All my code is in opencog. -- Linas On Thu, May 31, 2018 at 10:56 PM, Matthew Brown <[email protected]> wrote: > If it wasn’t for the trolls, I’d forget I was subscribed. > > > On Thu, May 31, 2018 at 8:55 PM Alan Grimes <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Good question. =(((( >> >> Stefan Reich via AGI wrote: >> > >> > Let's find out where the actual AGI push happens. >> >> -- >> Please report bounces from this address to [email protected] >> >> Powers are not rights. >> > *Artificial General Intelligence List <https://agi.topicbox.com/latest>* > / AGI / see discussions <https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi> + > participants <https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/members> + delivery > options <https://agi.topicbox.com/groups> Permalink > <https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T69a281f8db9ed3a7-Me1365bbe8fd7b090dada4358> > -- cassette tapes - analog TV - film cameras - you ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T69a281f8db9ed3a7-Me2fd51d78eca88562bde9851 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups
