Very interesting. I have my email filters set up to archive this list ..
which I will "read sometime later" ... but never do.

For some reason, this bypassed the filter and splatted to my central box.
So I will answer.

FWIW,

-- There is a group on LinkedIn called AGI, but it seems to mostly consist
of low-volume, low-quality posts and debate.

-- There is a group on Facebook called Pattern Languages or PLAST or
something like that, and it seems to have low-volume, high-quality
proposals for top-down AGI architectures.

-- There is the low-volume opencog mailing list, but it must be limited to
on-topic conversations viz. something specifically to do with the opencog
architecture or code-base.

Personally, I've kind of given up on high-level, top-down architecture and
theory, and instead work on bottom-up experiments to see what actually can
be made to work, and what issues pop up at each step. All my code is in
opencog.
