I think that's wrong to say. The ideas are all there, just the organizing is
yet to come (higher layers). And the AI they are creating is becoming more and
more advanced in how it works and what it does. There are applying it to new
domains and learning what Transformers etc can do. They are practicing. Their
main mission is true AGI and they seem to be on the ball.
