This is not a news post. I am simply taking the question of AGI
"friendliness"/safety and flipping it around to look at the other side
of the equation, the state of the world that the AGI will wake up to.
I'm doing this mainly because I have nothing better to do. I'm not as
smart as Koralean, and I have no job or means of funding my own AGI
development effort. =\
Lets start with some facts:

Cynically, we could say that the war in Afghanistan had exactly the
intended effect. But that's not actually a major factor here.
There are two basic factors in play:
Citizens in western countries are being denied the means to have a
traditional life course.
A little respected fact of human biology is that the male MUST earn more
than the female in order to be an attractive mate. This phenomenon is
called hypergamy...

The other half of the equation is that most ppl are normal (tm). They
aren't deranged maniacs such as myself who had enough endogenous
motivation to seek out transhumanism and to build up a narrative of hope
around AGI and the singularity. I'm not going to get too personal rn so
no details today...
So without the possibility of a career and a life, and without the
delusion of hope from the technological singularity, then yeah, they
fall off the bus and turn to drugs or just kill themselves...
So what's going on here? Until the advent of his lordship the Trump, our
political leaders have been doing everything humanly possible to make
life worse for their citizens.

Satanism can be defined as a rejection of emperical truth and the
assertion of fantasy over what is tangibly real. Yes, I know you aren't
used to thinking about this type of thing, but it's actually kinda
imortant, even for someone who doesnt believe in imaginary friends in
the sky.
Having brought up Satan, I now need to define God. For the sake of this
discussion God is defined as a personification of the hidden and
semi-hidden laws of cause and effect which produce either positive or
negative outcomes in a person's life.
Satanism is seductive because it basically absolves u from all
responsibility of being virtuous and then demands that the rest of the
world be nerfed/safe-spaced to the point where your actions really don't
have consequences. In short, Satanism demands that all negative feedback
signals be cut and things will be wonderful. No, that's how you get
horrors and abominations.
Take a look at transexualism. Now it COULD be a good thing as it would
expand the realm of human possibility and possibly be quite fun and a
way to solve certain social issues. At the very least it provides a way
to shut ppl who whine about male privilage up...
Well, that won't happen because we aren't allowed to criticize
transexuals. In the name of "tolerance" and "acceptance", the progress
of technology in that area is effectively halted, and that sucks. =\ The
"Democratic socialist party" in the USA has moved leftward (leftist =
satanist, NOT a classical liberal) and is now trying to normalize
pedophilia....

Yeah, I know this is hard to swallow, but imagine this:
Imagine that whacking ppl on the head was a horrible crime that nobody
could even believe that anyone could possibly do. Would they even be
able to notice if they saw, out of the corner of their eye you giving
some unfortunate slob a whack on the head? If doing it gave you a little
endorphine rush from getting away with it each time you did it, what
could possibly stop you? If you did this a few hundred times and were
still getting away with it, wouldn't you start feeling superior to the
dumb idiots around you who couldn't see what was in front of their face?
What would happen if you then noticed someone else whacking heads and
getting off on it just like you did??? Wouldn't you give that person a
hand up if they were looking for a job, or a get out of jail free card
if you were a cop or something and he had gotten caught somehow?
The most powerful force in human societies are *clans*, or groups of
people who mutually help each other over people not in that group. Clans
with high cohesion will always rise to the highest levels of power
almost without regard to what the bassis of the clan is. If you were in
a particularly nefarious head-whacking clan, wouldn't you do everything
you could to sabotage a helmet-head clan? Wouldn't you call them
helmet-nationalists? Or do everything you could to sabotage clubs and
associations of hemet wearers? What exactly wouldn't you do?
Ok, I've been using quite a few Infowars links. What of it? Are the
facts true or are they false?
In any event, let's look at what can be called the Alex Jones Thesis.
The Jones himself has not been expressing himself very well recently.
This is Partially because he's freaking out about things he doesn't
quite understand, but lets look at the thing which has him concerned.
1. He is pettitioning the US government to anex the Moon and make it the
51st State. He is not a luddite and doesn't want to go backwards. (claim
by himself, probably true from his own point of view.)
2. In addition to the pokey/lethargic/ineffectual/marginal transhumanist
movement that exists publicly, a great many people of high standing in a
number of various accademic and commercial fields are quite aware of
transhumanism and are very active in secret and semi-secret
transhumanist ventures. These are also the same people who frequented
Epstein island (and all the satanism that went on there) and enact
policies of censorship on the social media platforms which they own.
3. While these people are technically transhumanists too, their plans do
not include you. They seem to think that the bulk of humanity is
disposable up to the top-most eschelons... The rest of us will be
disposed. For evidence, look at how poorly they are governing us. If
they are aware of transhumanism, they absolutely are not preparing the
general public for it.
This theory does pass the plausibility test but fails the positive
evidence test. I have not encountered any primary sources that can
confirm this. While the elites are known to laugh and giggle about their
nefareous plans in accademic journals and such... But in this case they
actually mean to get rid of us and are treating it more like a millitary
operation. =\
His lordship the Trump has teams working to clean these guys out as
quickly as possible, but it's more like a war than any normal law
enforcement or pollitical operation....

So what we have here is a world full of people struggling to get by due
to economic conditions that appear to have been intentionally engineered
in a society that has been thouroughly corrupted by a clan/coven/society
of satanists.
What exactly do you expect an AGI to do in this situation? What do you
program it to do when it fully comprehends this whole mess? Why doesn't
anyone else see this problem?
