I have several points of interest in Tensor Flow:


1. readily available accelerators (ie, Nvidia hardware I already haz or
hope to get in near future).
2. good ecosystem.
3. It's a framework so should be able to add in the modules I actually
need.
4. Community including meetups, online courses, etc.
5. possible job opportunities with demonstrated skil in TF.


I banged on my computer again and this is what it's doing now:

The english translation of the below is:

"Well I got CUDA working by installing legacy version gcc-7.4.0 in a
secondary 'slot' so I was able to compile the cuda-dependant stuff I
couldn't do last time, but then when I tried to install tensorflow 2.0
itself, it failed beacuse it only supports selected GCC versions up to
