So why are all our thingies so small? Why aren't birds as big as a tree? Why aren't men as big as a building? Why aren't programs a billion lines of code long? Why aren't cells as big as an apple? Why aren't we inviting other workers into our room? Too much clutter? They get in the way, there's only one thing going on in the universe and its evolution of matter. To do that, context is important. When you add junk like metal walls between construction workers, they can't connect as well or fast. Bigger is better, do not ignore that, however if there is less pattern learning then there is less performance.
Why don't rejuvenating giants breed more? Why did dinosaurs die? Why is there so many bacteria and so few humans? Why do water bears survive extreme heat, cold, freezing, Cryptobiosis, space, radiation, toxins, starvation, pressure, for years? *WATER BEAR* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH3ABle9k7A *The internet’s favorite microscopic creature, the tardigrade, could one day save your life* https://qz.com/937683/scientists-have-discovered-how-water-bears-come-back-to-life-after-theyre-dried/ ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T0fc0d7591fcf61c5-M6fefb32064df43e5f9b882ab Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
