If the AGI is taking a nap, when it wakes and wiggles it's finger, will it be quicker to recompute all physics or, load it up from memory. You would think memory, but, I cannot confirm because we'll be pushing the limits of computation by then. A small partial physics engine is no biggie but instantly derive - All Physics - in a few seconds from boot time or resume from sleep, in the "bios" or device driver. A localized device driver for all physics in this universe re-derived each time. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/Te623675bfcbd1b22-M0b04e400b49b5606d106f24e Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
