Ever work hard and wonder what if you just dropped it all and took up a golfing profession? Matt's version of that would be working on lossy compression. No, just no. I mean some dropout is good but our goal with lossless is to know we are understanding the data then can generate+recognize unseen. We are, in the real world. We are lossy ad missing data of the future.
Lossless compression is Lossy compression because the universe is JUST particles, we are all the same boat, a taster is a alive as the rock in the river. Lossless is stuck in your computer though (unless a small thief jumps in your computer and injects bits in your RAM!!! Lossy is global, Earth can be destroyed but will reform.
