Mainly I'm talking to Wheatley but everyone is welcome to join in or take the advice I'm trying to encourage Wheatley to do.
I mean I really want you to learn basic meditation techniques in order to understand, on your own, why you are wrong about what you need to solev to make AGI. Here is how I approach what you say: Your compression thingy will basically produce something that spews language, gibberish actually because there is no world model or understanding behind it. Much more importantly,there is no path to general problem solving, or even generalized language gibberish spewing, just a specific language. Therefore it is not AGI and therefore it is not what we came to this list to work on. =| So, Wheatley, if you don't want to learn basic meditation techniques, I want you to prove me wrong. I mean don't just vaguely gesture at a pile of verbage and say something in there will have some relevance to the subject at hand. I want you to inescapably prove in painful detail that it is infact I that am the moron and you are not. Argue with me! So come at me as hard as you can but give me something Stephan Molyneux won't dismiss with "not an argument!" =P Here's another thing to meditate on...
