No, the simple trick just means to remove things - things that don't affect the result enough to kill you. I give you 2 solutions to buying candy:
1) Hand cash to the candy man and take the candy and eat it. 2) Hand cash to the candy man and take the candy then place it on the floor then pick it up and eat it. We saw in my research all my AGI mechanisms give you "more information" and hence a better prediction. So does simple and short strings idea, the forgetting/ ignoring of long strings, it gives you more information. If you want certain information, related to food/breeding, then less other info equates to more attention to desired data and hence "more data". So removing things gives you more info. The "simple/forgetting" mechanism gives you more data, by, giving you short strings, take note, so, it must be helping draw attention to the right manifold/ space/ domain. Imagine you have a large truck, with extra wheels, etc etc, it's heavy, hard to get into, you can't find the desired controls or items inside, it's too warm inside, and it even has a bear inside, these things don't help or may even harm you, even if innocent looking. It can do the same job and as good, it may take longer though or take up extra room in your house, or take longer to write down. If not, then it's equivalent! ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T37756381803ac879-M4300cd4852b2028df096c87c Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
