This post will be a bit more meta than the political rants that I posted.

What I mean by historical times is an event or series of happenings that
changes the course of the development of a society. The 9/11 attacks
were such an event. This FAKE Covid crisis is also such an event. The
Singularity will probably be the ultimate such event.

We are used to living and planning our lives along predictable courses,
often making huge assumptions about the nature of the society that we
will be living in.

Far too many of us forget, ultimately, how fragile our lives are. How we
depend each day or a network of trust throughout our society to make
life possible.

For example, the people pay taxes to the local government for police and
schools. Now, in several cities, the city government has abandoned their
police duties, which is causing a breakdown in the economy as businesses
are not able to function without police protection. Meanwhile they are
refusing to open the schools because, Hey!, there is a fake pandemic
going around... And then they have the chutspah to go back to the
taxpayers demanding more money.  The people are, understandably going
"fuck this shit", and moving out of these cities, and into rural areas.
So cities that have been the crown jewels of American life are now
teetering on the brink of utter collapse.

Ok, lets hop into the wayback machine and go back to when the first
Republican president was inaugurated. The Republican was a young party
at the time, only 20 years old, iirc. The Democrats were pissed. They
managed to push the inauguration back from the 20th of January to the
4th of march meaning there was a period of about six weeks when the
country did not have a President. About six weeks after the
inauguration, the states controlled by the Democrats seceeded from the
union and attacked Fort Sumpter. I'm not going to spend a lot of time
looking up secific details but yeah, this is relevant. =\

Several people have analyzed what the Demcrats are doing. They are not
even campaigning in any real sense anymore. They are still expressing
endless hate for Trump and his supporters but they have no platform, no
set of proposals for making life in America better.

Instead, they are working feverishly on stealing the election with their
mail-in voting fraud. =|

That won't work but they'll say it's Trump's Fault anyway and might just
try to split the country. The problem is that since 1865, the policy of
the federal government was to make another civil war impossible. The
powers of the state governments has been diminished and they are far
less independant than they had been in the beginning. The Democrats
certainly control enough states to attempt it, I live in a
democrat-governed state myself. =\

The real problem for the Democrats is that they don't have the political
clout to hold their states together once they declare independance. This
will not be an 1861 style Civil War. The rural counties, with all the
water, farms, mines, etc, are fiercely loyal to the true President.

So a few hours after declaring independance, the rural areas will
declare independance from the urban areas and the suburban areas, such
as the one I'm living in will become the DMZ.

Now the cities will lose this conflict as it is as foolish as your brain
declaring war on your heart. The heart simply has to stop pumping for a
few minutes and the war is over. But that's not the point. This is a war
of anihilation and the target is the nation, our way of life, and,
through a short string of dominos, the entirety of western civilization. =(

If we survive, there will be an anual pilgramage into the burned-out
ruins of our cities where a large effigy of a donky will be erected and
then burned. =|
