I think we have to explore in order to learn - and in order to utilize our
knowledge. But it is nicer when we can do so wisely. So we explore areas that
we do not know well in order to expand our knowledge which includes the
application of knowledge that we have already acquired. But when we make too
many mistakes (like I have been doing recently) I have to figure out how to
make fewer mistakes. But here again that involves trying to do things a little
differently than I have been doing. I have found in the past that when I do
more programming my reasoning becomes a little clearer so that is a familiar
tactic that I can use to try to "reinvent" myself.
