When AGI is invented, what should we do to stop the government from trying to withhold public use of the technology? If we don't run 10,000 AGIs at 100 times human speed with advanced cognitive enhancements right away on curing ageing, we may die. And how will we stop insane/naive humans from using AGIs to think up plans to set the world on fire? While we may get AGIs in-use, doing so may leak it to bad actors.
