That's nice. I wasn't even sure if there is enough to see...

Just manually.

> Does user input have the option of becoming new patterns?

Yes, absolutely. That is how it is supposed to work. Input becomes a pattern by
generalizing any part of it, e.g. from "John is my friend" to "<person> is my
friend". Or simply "* is my friend" if the category is not clear.

Actually, all "semantic" patterns (containing a category like <person>) are
also converted to a syntactic pattern (containing just asterisks) because from
the parser's point of view only the syntactic pattern matters.

If you are logged in to the site, buttons appear on the query page for storing
your input and also matches. I will probably change this today and show the
buttons to everyone. This just might become a spamming problem which is why I
am hesitant.

> Did you extract them from a dataset?

Not yet

> Or have you and your team manually made them all?

Yes, we have been busy. Seeing as after one week we can now do basic pattern
matching, I expect we will be able to parse many kinds of sentences after this
coming week.

Yeah there are 2 broken patterns which currently match anything (the pattern is
just one single variable). If there was semantic parsing also, these would be
rejected too. They're actually just useless so the system would delete them
altogether. I didn't feel like deleting them manually because I want the system
to "learn" this by itself.

Hey I'm glad you guys checked it out. This will actually grow now. Smruti,
Aditya and Abinash are rightfully  resting today...

Greetings
