I think some of us say AGI might be more bandwidth than brains, because humans
are kinda humans more because we store writings that in mass others can read on
their own time over and over again as they jump around it, and made computers
to instantly connect to a wider range of human knowledges. The transportation
of data, not human legs or hands exactly as that is only to collect/ direct
data. As we know, more data = higher intelligence. Humans first developed
language. A fleet of ultra cooperating/ cloned AGIs would be a higher
intelligence, running at high speed, 1,000,000 AGI scientists running 100 times
faster would be like having 100,000,000 scientists, that have a long life
experience (100 years per year, reaching ages of 1,000 years old in 10 years).
But as we know too, intelligence is not just adding more data, a brain can be
made to statistically merge patterns together in a more tight unified way (like
a smaller processor is better) instead of using a bunch of humans and tools to
add to your pallet. Because we don't know which humans or tools have redundant
data, a brain however stores things in a more perfect way that combines
statistics and calculates it all instead of manually with delay collecting
opinions from others and from tools that aid you in predicting things. Human
brains can be improved, adding data is good but sorting it better in a brain is
key. So AGIs will have both better, and a lot more.
