"- evolution selects instincts fit for their own propagation, innate but postnatally modulated by usage, - conditioning value-loads stimuli preceding (instrumental for) previously value-loaded stimuli, - cognitive curiosity searches for predictive patterns, even among initially value-free stimuli."
I like this part. Well, cognition is very similar to goals and priming, it all weighs in in predicting the next word to a sentence. Above I see mentioned parental offloading to children, long term memory, short term memory, goals, and slightly random predictions (we predict walked down the road/ hall/ forest/ man/ boom/ wind, accordingly, with wind being predicted very rarely just to explore). Yes I have all these studied in my Guide to AGI. Their implementation is what matter even more for creating AGI, or at least is one way to improve them instead of adding more brain functions. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T5b614d3e3bb8e0da-Maad9db8ee790081034b50e6e Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
