Brett, There is LOTS of evidence that NI (Natural Intelligence) systems compute via the correlated dP/dt changes in inputs, with the time differentiation then propagating all the way through the systems. There is simply NO WAY of doing this sort of computation with snapshots UNLESS they are VERY close together in time - like <<0.1 seconds.
You are running in the right direction, but I have already tried and failed to bring this group along with me. This can NOT be done in real time on present-day personal computers, so rather than work on the theory, so that useful hardware can be designed or possibly super-efficient algorithms can be developed, the people here are into instant gratification, so they play around with algorithms in a hopeless pursuit of some way past the basics of this situation.
