Molnupiravir and Paxlovid. I expect these to be approved soon, based on clinical trials by Merck and Pfizer. Remdesivir is approved but only marginally effective, and dexamethasone is useful in severe cases when the immune response is too strong. There is no good evidence for regeneron antibody infusions. There is plenty of evidence that a certain popular horse dewormer that I won't name is effective for that purpose, but useless against covid-19.
As for the vaccine, I trust the clinical trials over right wing YouTubers. But since anecdotes apparently carry more weight than science for most people, I will mention that I had the booster (Moderna) and I am still alive and healthy at age 66. I suppose if you're young or already had covid then you probably don't need the vaccine. But I think that you will find that international travel will become increasingly difficult without the jab. We just got back from Puerto Rico where we had to show proof of vaccination at the airport, at both rental houses, at most restaurants, and to go zip lining. I realize that the masks, lockdowns, quarantines, and border restrictions turned out to be ineffective. (How does my home Florida have the lowest infection rate of the 50 states?) When this became obvious and governments continued their policies anyway through inertia (nobody loses their job for doing the same as everyone else), then we learned to distrust government. Scientists are not the government. How is this related to AGI? Politically neutral news is increasingly becoming paywalled, while anything with an agenda is still free. Social media ranking algorithms show us more of what we like or comment on, and allow us to block people that we disagree with. We were warned that AGI would make humans irrelevant. One of the way this happens is when it hides reality from us inside fantasy world news bubbles.
