Unfortunately the universe seems to be based on probabilistic pattern forming. Meaning some cells die, some clone, and same for humans. Same for planetary civilizations. Same for galactic civilizations. There is others to take our place if we fail. It happens. The probability of survival all the way to the finish is rare because there is many other ""Earths"" because it's common to die.
Here's some rather gibberish thought trying to think deeper: If we maybe think of a human body's cells, none make it but the last few that seem to get out and fuse with eggs...they die too but they seem to be the "last ones" that sort of do the job of creating a Lot More where otherwise would yield nothing (no baby). So as for humans dying, none make it either...! Only the last few, us maybe, and they fuse too with the artificial technology. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T659e51d2281da0fc-Me99c5f1edcf13ff19c72d538 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
