It has 2 new capabilities: edit, and insert. I imagine one could have it always
thinking "edit everything written so it conveys the ideas better", then extend
the story/ paper/ whateverhere by some more words, then again stimulate the
edit thought, repeat. In this way, it would finish its writing elongation,
while edits it along the way, like we do (well, we don't always edit what we
write).
