No the singularity is on track, AGI before 2029, not later. You are failing to see how impressive GPT-4 is compared to chatGPT, little own GPT-3. GPt-4 can replace most jobs now, even teachers that need to look at children's drawings, it seems, and say "sit down Josh", I see you are standing and hiding now, sit down or i'll message the principal.
I don't think you know of the last 100 AIs that have come out. I have been collecting them all into folders. I have over like 100 now. In 2021 we got DALL-E 1, far better than 2017 text to image. 2022 we got dalle2, 2023 dalle3 (bing's is the preview). Very similar trend for text to video. Those videos you see on Imagen Video's site use video prediction to make next frames, be aware, that's video prediction too technically. (Unless I'm horribly mistaken). Lots more of developments, all companies released at same time text to audio/song AIs this year...they are getting ready to make multi-modal AIs. We got The New Bing this year, and GPT-4. AI is exponential, GPT-4 is already weak AGI. Not much time is left. I don't use Google Search anymore, chatGPT, little own yet GPT-4!, Answers all my questions up front, and is my new doctor plus butler to ex. sort things or write code for me or review or edit code etc, often with info that backs its answers up. No I don't like Bing's it can't find answers often, wisdom matters more therefore. Would work best if answered then searched to back up claims. You can ask Bing to do that.
