Hey hey Alan, long time no see ;)

Just to clarify one point: My AGI R&D efforts include dev teams in
many places in the world including a number of folks here in Seattle
area where I've lived since 2020. All of our devs in various
locations are reasonably well compensated w/ combinations of local
cash + tokens. Neither SingularityNET nor OpenCog Foundation nor
TrueAGI nor any other entity I'm affiliated with, so far as I am
aware, practices slavery nor even indentured servitude, we consider
such practices incompatible with the creation of ethical beneficial
AGI systems ;p

On OpenCog Hyperon, the discussion thread here seems to involve quite
a few misconceptions, but I have only a moment to type right now so
won't try to correct them...

Folks who want to grok my perspective on AGI more fully, rather than
taking pseudo-informed potshots, can take a look at my various papers
on Arxiv, including length ones on "General Theory of General
Intelligence", the Hyperon system, and a critique of LLMs as an
approach to AGI

I would also like to invite everyone to AGI-24 at UW in Seattle in
August to discuss AGI in person<

https://agi-conf.org/2024. .

thanks much and love to all...
Ben
