I didn't understand, what does paq8px_v67 score with the pre-processed enwik5? I see "20,582 x.paq8px" but is that v67 or a different version? (I'm using the pre-processed enwik5 for now because everyone else at the top seems to use it.) The code is now 52 lines of code and scores 23,357 for 100,000 bytes and runs in about 5.3 seconds on my laptop i5 using PyPy added to the Pycharm IDE. We/I replaced the compressor with entropy evaluation because it's faster code, smaller and gave the same result.
