Hey, Ben! We're always trying to drum up support for our AGI projects, right? And you've got quite a team going with your OpenCog fellows and your Netizens who beat a path to your AGI door.
Meanwhile I languish at AGI Valhalla trying to code AGI in English, German and Russian. Lately the lack of basic fundamentals like even a Russian dictionary has been gnawing at my erstwhile frugality and my willingness to do without any support network. http://www.scn.org/~mentifex/Dushka.html is beginning to inspire some interest among "AI Amateurs and Experts" in Mother Russia. Right when I have the most AGI work to do, I have the least resources to do it with. Ideally I would have filing cabinets, and a reference library, and high-speed workstations for AGI coding and AGI communications. Maybe it's time for me to apply for an AGI job at Microsoft across the pond from Seattle. Over Christmas I asked my relatives near Microsoft Headquarters if I could rent their basement, should I work at Microsoft. Yesterday, though,I was responding to all this sudden interest from Russian AI coders, and it occurred to me that maybe I could find some Russian-speakers at the Googleplex near my Berkeley Alma Mater, and sell my Slavic heart and soul to Google. So, does anybody know of any Russian-speaker or speakers on the staff of Bay Area Google? Preferably it would be someone who has been at Google for a really long time and who knows the ropes of how things work at Google. If I could make contact with a senior Russian- speaker at Google and get him or her to check out my Dushka Russian AI Mind, maybe that person would emotionally crave to see AI flower in Russian at Google. The higher up that person is on the Google chain of command, the better. I mean, we're talking Peter Norvig level or higher. So please respond right here on the main Singularity list if you can think of any Russian-speaker in the Google nachalstvo.
