There's a new distro for Linux, the only difference between it and the Windows one is that the hill world is much flatter now in Linux I haven't rebuilt it for Windows so the new species linked under the guide might not work as well in the Windows version where they'll have to circle the hill not climb it really. In Linux the hill is flat enough for them to do hill-climbing so I'd try it in that. Just check INSTALL I can provide the testworld1.cpp source that implements the flatter hill if anyone in Windows wants to recompile it that way.
